The Father loves the Son extravagantly. He turned everything over to him so he could give it away—a lavish distribution of gifts. That is why whoever accepts and trusts the Son gets in on everything, life complete and forever!
And that is also why the person who avoids and distrusts the Son is in the dark and doesn’t see life. All he experiences of God is darkness, and an angry darkness at that.

Don’t you just love having a choice? Like…same shirt, but I like the gray one better; or a presented array of desserts but the no-brainer winner is Creme Brûlée; or the simple everyday choices of what toothpaste to buy, what to grab for a healthy breakfast, or should I stop at Starbucks or Stone Creek?
These frequent choices are commonplace. An everyday occurrence. But what about THEE CHOICE! Ya know, like Moses asked in Deuteronomy 30:19-20, “Today I have given you the CHOICE between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the CHOICE you make. Oh, that you would CHOOSE life, so that you and your descendants might live!
You can make this CHOICE by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life.”
Perfectly clear that we have a CHOICE…CHOOSE life! And why wouldn’t you desire to choose life? God provided it for you. He sent His Son, Jesus, to bring us into His all-consuming love relationship He desires to have with you. But God is a gentleman, you know, and He allows us to to make a choice. But He strongly recommends to choose life! And that choice comes with more than a lifetime guarantee…it’s a forever guarantee. Never wears out. Always living.
Don’t forget that those who choose life…who choose Christ…will never die. Remember Jesus’ words in John 11:25-26, Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
Whoa. Whoever believes in Jesus shall never die. That’s life now and life forever! We just change residences. We move to our new address: HEAVEN! But we need to make a choice while we are still in our earthly abode about our future forever destination.
This is THEE CHOICE that will change your life now and forever. No one can make it for you. Only you. But God is always pursuing you to make the choice for Him. When we choose His Son, we get in on everything, life complete and forever.
If you don’t decide for Jesus then the opposite is true, as well, “…the person who avoids and distrusts the Son is in the dark and doesn’t see life. All he experiences of God is darkness, and an angry darkness at that.” Ouch.
Everyday we have choices set before us. Don’t miss out on THEE CHOICE that will change your life now…and forever. Choose Jesus! He IS the way, the truth and the life!
