What is your purpose? What do you live for? Getting more and more stuff? Going more and more places? Planning more and more outings? When is the “more and more” going to be enough? When will you be satiated?
Well, the Apostle Paul shares that “everything got started in Jesus, God’s son, and everything finds its purpose in Him.”
So, your real purpose…that nagging void inside you…is drawing you to be filled with Jesus. To finally be satiated. Only Jesus can satisfy and satiate as ” EVERYTHING
finds its purpose in Him.”
That includes absolutely everything!! And everything is every thing!! Including everything above and below. Everything visible and invisible. Every angel. Everything created. That includes me. That includes you!
So, if you’re existing to accumulate wealth, stuff, fame, honor-roll kids, temporary fixes of happiness…those will soon fade from your view. (No permanent satiation there.)
Turn to the One that was “there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment.”
And since we can only hold onto this moment, as we don’t know about the next, why live to accumulate the stuff that doesn’t last?
Live a purpose-filled life. One that only Jesus can provide.
